Check products on delivery
At Fly Music you pay after you open the package and make sure you have received the ordered product, in perfect condition. The "Check-On-Delivery" service is automatically activated for all products in the eligible categories mentioned below and is valid for both individuals and legal entities.
When is the "Check-On-Delivery" service available?
The service is valid and automatically activated for orders containing products in the following categories:
- Accordions
- Guitars
- mandolin
- Ukulele
- Violins & String Instruments
This service is also automatically activated for orders containing products with a value of more than RON 5000 and / or orders in which the customer expressly requests this service for shipping.
What are the customer obligations?
- The customer has the obligation to open the present package with the delivery agent under the transport and opening delivery service provided by Fan Courier.
- In the case of GLS deliveries, the delivery opening service is only available if the packaging is found to be damaged. The physical defects of the packaging and the contents must be notified and reported before the receipt is signed, and in case the products are hit or have physical defects, a report will be drawn up with the defects found, and the product will be replaced.
- Subsequent complaints will not be considered for orders benefitting this service.
How does it work?
- When the courier is at your door or at the gate, you need to ask them to open the package to check what it contains, in the case of orders with the "Check-On-Delivery" service active. You first look to see if The package contains the ordered products. Then check the condition in which they reached you.
- The verification can only be made for the appearance of the products. They must appear without visible non-conformities (scratches, impact marks, lack of accessories, etc.). The technical functionality of the products cannot be tested by the "Delivery Opening" service.
- If you are fully satisfied with the findings, you accept delivery and sign them to the courier. This confirms to us that everything is fine with the products in your order. It is good to know that if you change your mind and use the 14 Days Guaranteed Return service but return our products with various non-conformities, we will assume that they were caused by you since you accepted the initial delivery of the package.
- If you notice non-conformities, you have every right to refuse to receive the package. The courier will complete a statement of findings, where the reasons for refusal will be written, you will sign it and that's it. The package will be returned to us, and for you this operation is completely free.
- It is good to know that the delivery of an order can only be accepted or refused in its entirety. Thus, in the situation where there are several products in order and only one of them you are not fully satisfied, the refusal to receive it implies the return of the entire order.
What happens if I refuse a delivery?
It's up to you.
- We can deliver a new product to you, if it is still in stock or can be brought from suppliers within a mutually agreed time, and the new delivery will be free for you. Or we may refund your order if you have already paid for it and we cannot offer you another product instead of the one you declined.
- We will contact you as soon as we are informed that you have declined delivery of an order, and we will agree with you on the next steps, depending on the options available and what you want.
