Pre-wired electronics - features the same additional controls and wiring as featured on Markbass instruments. The VOLUME / VOLUME / TONE control knobs are clearly the best choice for managing two pickup setups, and the TONE push/pull knob allows for quick transitions from Jaco or Motown vocals to more modern, open tones - even when I go into passive mode. In active mode, the BASS / MIDDLE / HIGH potentiometers in the 3-band EQ section increase the character of the instrument, adding modern and rich responses when you raise or lower selected frequencies, providing a balanced and defined tone even at extreme settings
Active/passive mode - volume level changes when switching from active to passive and back are almost imperceptible
